Casting News: Mac's Back!

I see a big Mac attack in Billy's future.

TVGuide.com is reporting Y&R has recast the role of Mac.

It's a new actress playing the part - Clementine Ford, daughter of Cybill Shepherd. Ford had a role on Showtime's The L Word. MacKenzie Browning returns to the GC April 1.

For those who don't remember Mac, she and Billy were married for 30 seconds when they were teenagers. Jill found them on their wedding night (before they consumated) and told them that they're cousins because she's Katherine's daughter.

However, with the latest DNA results proving that Jill and Kay aren't related, Mac's presence will certainly shake things up for Billy who never got over her and subsequently became a womanizer.

Looks like Chloe will have someone new to stalk.

Doctor's In The House

Word is that Tonya Lee Williams (Olivia) is on her way back to Genoa City on a recurring basis. There's no word yet on what storylines she'll be involved with but expect to see Aunt 'Liv back at the end of this month.

There's also rumors flying that they're going to bring back her son Nate, but there hasn't been any official word on that yet.

And for you Drucilla fans, Victoria Rowell told Daytime Confidential that she has not been invited back to the show.

Family Reunion?

It looks like Jack won't be the only Abbott in town for long. First, Billy Abbott (Billy Miller) will be back onscreen starting September 19.

Also, word is that his big sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will be part of the cast going to Paris in October (which will air in November). In addition to Davidson, Eric Braeden (Victor), Joshua Morrow (Nick) and Sharon Case (Sharon) will be making the trip. It's unclear if Davidson's on contract or recurring status.

Watch for Alistair (Jerry Douglas) to make a comeback as well. Hopefully he won't be sticking around.

Noah, Nick and Sharon's son, is all growed up! Y&R has reportedly cast Kevin Schmidt (of Cheaper By The Dozen fame) for the role. There's no word on exactly how old Noah is supposed to be, but Daytime Confidential says he's going to interact with the 20-somethings. Viewers will begin to see him August 13.

Hey everyone,

Word on the web is ... that Michael Gross (remember him - the dad from Family Ties?) has been cast as Lowell Baldwin, Michael's father. Daytime Confidential reports his first scenes air August 15.

Also, there are reports that a casting notice has gone up for "Will" who is a young man in his 20's. Insiders believe this is for the role of Jill's other son Billy Abbott. Hmmm .. is Cane going to have some competition for mommy's attention? ...

It looks like crazy Chloe is just getting started. Soap Opera Digest is reporting Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) has signed a multi-year contract with The Young and the Restless. Lily and Cane - buckle your seatbelts!
