Clip Slip/Rant: Ashley's News

In a preview of tomorrow's episode, Victor spills the beans on some really big news. If you don't want to be spoiled, I'd advise you to stop reading right now.

Basically, Ashley's knocked up, by whom else - The Great Victor Newman. Personally, I'm disgusted. It's not that I don't like them together, it's just that pregnancy seems to be the only type of story Y&R wants to do these days.

Wasn't it enough that we just got done with Chloe's baby drama, now we have to look at Ashley being pregnant? Geez. And why is Victor the only man in Genoa City who seems to be able to (willingly) reproduce these days?

Also, it was bad enough last year when they allowed Sabrina to be pregnant and explained away The Moustache's vasectomy months later. Why reopen old wounds for irritated viewers who are supposed to accept an off-screen surgical reversal? Victor has enough kids - let someone else get a baby.

OK, I'm done with my rant.

Doctor's In The House

Word is that Tonya Lee Williams (Olivia) is on her way back to Genoa City on a recurring basis. There's no word yet on what storylines she'll be involved with but expect to see Aunt 'Liv back at the end of this month.

There's also rumors flying that they're going to bring back her son Nate, but there hasn't been any official word on that yet.

And for you Drucilla fans, Victoria Rowell told Daytime Confidential that she has not been invited back to the show.

Family Reunion?

It looks like Jack won't be the only Abbott in town for long. First, Billy Abbott (Billy Miller) will be back onscreen starting September 19.

Also, word is that his big sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will be part of the cast going to Paris in October (which will air in November). In addition to Davidson, Eric Braeden (Victor), Joshua Morrow (Nick) and Sharon Case (Sharon) will be making the trip. It's unclear if Davidson's on contract or recurring status.

Watch for Alistair (Jerry Douglas) to make a comeback as well. Hopefully he won't be sticking around.
