Wednesday will be another almost perfect day. In an earlier blog this year I described my perfect day as 80 degrees, plenty of sunshine and low humidity. Wednesday will be about as perfect as it gets for mid October as there will be plenty of sunshine and a high near 70. It is really going to be nice during the day and it should be perfect baseball weather Wednesday night for the Phils. If you are heading to the game, expect a great night weather wise with a game time temperature of about 63 with light winds. Temps will fall into the mid to upper 50s by games end, but it will still be nice.

Thursday we will see more high cloud cover, but it should still be a great day with highs in the low 70s for just about everyone. A front will try to move through the area late in the day and overnight.

That front will cool things off for Friday as highs will struggle to reach 60. There will be plenty of clouds Friday and we should see some shower activity by late in the day.

That sets the stage for Saturday, which is once again looking like a rainy, windy and gloomy day.

A big storm will be developing to our west on Friday. That storm will bring in plenty of Gulf and Atlantic moisture and may just give us another big soaking rain for the first part of the weekend. It will be windy as well, with winds gusting to 20-30 mph during the afternoon.

Right now, I think rain is a good bet for Saturday. I am hoping that the storm is weaker though and that the rain may be quick moving. There is a small chance that this could happen. If the upper level low is not as strong and does not dig down to the south quite as far, we may just be able to skirt the system somewhat. If that were the case, then the low would track farther to the north and west. That would mean warmer temperatures and less rainfall. This scenario did play out a few weeks ago when the models were predicting 1-2 inches of rain early in the week and we actually saw a lot less. I will keep my fingers crossed, but as of right now, I have my umbrella ready.
