Unlock your car and start it from thousands of miles away? There's an app for that!  Why you'd want to start your car from anywhere in the US, I don't know.  The only requirement is that your car has power doors and windows!  All you have to do is go to Best Buy and have them install the receiver for $499!  Huh? You can also sound a panic alarm from your phone.  I like this take on it I found in PC World.  I'd like to correct them on one thing...the technology to unlock your house with your iPhone ALREADY EXISTS!  If you're intrigued by the new Viper SmartStart you can read all about it at their web site.  For $500, to never have to find your car keys, then buy the Schlage setup and never carry your house keys.  The keys to your life will all be in your iPhone.  Oh no....only 10% battery left on my iPhone???  Yipes!
