It’s been a steady drum beat of "the swine flu is coming, the swine flu is coming."  The President even declared the situation an emergency.  We have had healthy people in our area die, so there is a very high level of concern.  The big question that people are now asking out of frustration is, "where is the vaccine."  We were told it would be here. We were told we had nothing to worry about, there would be plenty to go around.

The Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health H1N1 blog updates folks about how many doses of the vaccine have been distributed, and how much more they are expecting.  The site says there should be enough for public clinics by December, but is that too late?  Some residents have been posting great questions about what they should do.  Someone at DPH was answering their concerns, but now there is a note saying - not any more.

Is any of this frustrating you?  Shouldn’t we have enough vaccine considering the advanced warning we were given?  What have you done to try getting your vaccine?
