Breaking News: Islanders forward Bill Guerin has been traded to the Penguins for a conditional draft pick. If the Pens don't make the playoffs, Islanders get a 5th round pick. If the Pens make the playoffs, Islanders get a 4th round pick. If the Pens win a round in the playoffs, Islanders get a 3rd round pick. So, the Islanders will get EITHER a 3rd, 4th or 5th round pick. Guerin is a unrestricted free agent after this season. TSN is reporting that the Penguins beat out Washington for Guerin.
I would imagine, Guerin would automatically become Sid Crosby's right winger. The question then becomes, does Dan Bylsma put Chris Kunitz on Sid's left wing or keep him on Jordan Staal's wing?
