I interviewed usedwigs.com and all I got was this tee-shirt (Thanks Todd!)
So, last Friday I ventured off to Abington to meet with the men behind usedwigs.com. (No, it has nothing to do with used wigs.)
Instead, it's a site dedicated to 'quality workday distractions,' everything from satiric news stories, humor columns as well as music and movie reviews. Well, movie trailer reviews, that is.
I went into the shoot expecting the content to make for good television, but never realized how much fun I'd have in the process! Jeff, Russ and Bob, er Todd were all amazing to work with and Russ' wife Lisa even allowed us to take complete run of her newly remodeled home.
Even before the cameras were rolling, the guys had me in stitches. Of course, things only worsened once I put them on-camera altogether. (Can you say tangents?!) At one point, I had to cut the audio out of the video because you could hear me cracking up. (I'm pretty sure it was as a result of Jeff's awful attempt at pretending to type for the camera broll.)
Towards the end of the shoot, I had the pleasure of sitting in on a podcast with the group. (It will air on usedwigsradio.com later this week.) The natural flow of conversation and the mix of comedic deliveries made for not only good content, but a great end to a very long week.
So, thanks guys!
