Windows 7 have a lot of neat features, but before to shove it into your computer you have to make sure you have what it takes. Many Windows XP users may not want to try at all - and Vista users have to decide between 32 and 64 bit versions. Then there's the question of whether to just upgrade...or do a clean install.
