The past few months have challenged the financial wisdom of even the smartest planners, and struck terror in the hearts of nervous consumers who can’t pay their bills. Maybe it used to be that any calls you got from debt collectors were prerecorded junk calls that weren’t intended for you, but now it’s the real thing. Maybe you’re being threatened with foreclosure. And even if everything’s fine, there’s a lot to worry about, and as we all know, high finance isn’t easy to understand.
Well, we’re all in luck, because this week is Money Smart Week in Chicago, and a series of free classes are available to help consumers.
