Following Alaska's Lead

A plan that works?

Here's a link to more information about the innovative Alaska program cracking down on underage drinking that was featured in my report tonight.

And here's a question for you: what other creative new out-of-state ideas for dealing with public-policy issues are you aware of and wish our local lawmakers would take a look at? I was struck by how unusual it seems for Massachusetts folks - in this case, Waltham city officials - to look elsewhere for fresh ideas. (After all, we know it all already, right?) Help us out by proving me wrong, or right, as the case may be.
