About this Blog
Welcome to Conversation Nation, the official home of conversation. Ok, truth be told, conversation doesn’t technically have an official home. But our legal department is looking into it. Until then, this is where David, Paula, Robi and Todd bring their thought bubbles to life and welcome you in to discuss whatever’s on your mind.

Porn Can Be Sex Education?

Posted by Robi

This is one of those "It's time to update the law" stories

A father is not going to jail for showing his young daughters hard core pornography. Because in Texas, that can be considered teaching your kids about sex

The mother of those eight and nine year old girls is furious and says her ex-husband should be treated like a pedophile

The two little girls told their mom dad forced them to watch X-rated movies on the Internet. They claim he wouldn't let them turn away from the screen during graphic scenes of adult group sex.

The mom went  to police but the DA told them he was handcuffed by a 1970's law that allows parents to show their kids "harmful material" to teach them about sex ed. That law was meant to protect a parent's privacy rights

The mom says "I understand in the '70's everybody wanted the government to stay out of their homes" and she doesn't want to deny parents the rights to teach their kids about sex but she says her ex-husband crossed the line
