Welcome to Conversation Nation, the official home of conversation. Ok, truth be told, conversation doesn’t technically have an official home. But our legal department is looking into it. Students Banned From Hockey Game

Posted by Robi

The Needham High boys hockey team are the defending Division 1 champions. They are undefeated this year. But when they take to the ice to face off against Framingham today, the team will not hearing their fellow students cheering. Why?

The Principal has banned students from attending the game

Principal Paul Richards says the punishment is necessary because some students have ignored several warnings to curb rowdy and unsportsmanlike behavior at hockey games. Last year the MIAA warned Needham high officials to get their kids under control

The type of good behavior expected from student fans is clearly outlined in a memo written by the Principal that is posted on the school's website

Several Needham students misbehaved at last Saturday's game which prompted the Principal to issue this one game suspension

But should all students pay the price for the acts of a few?
