Saving On Organics

In a more fruitful economy many of us switched to organics to avoid chemicals in our food. Usually organics cost more. CBS4's Molly Hughes is reporting Tuesday on the top 12 items experts say you should buy organic.

Finding Hidden Treasures

If you've always wondered if your old baseball cards, coins or stamps are worth a lot of money, Molly Hughes is reporting Wednesday on a dealer who is helping families find hidden treasures.

Tackling Home Repairs

CBS4's Molly Hughes is reporting Wednesday about a company called Tomboy Tools. It sells tools geared toward women at tupperware-style parties then teaches them how to use the tools. They go over projects like how to hang drywall and all kinds of plumbing issues.

We want to know what kind of home improvement projects you'd be willing to tackle. Do you have any advice for those willing to try?

Customers Save Local Coffee Shop

One small business that was about to go under in Fort Collins found its own rescue plan through its customers. CBS4's Mike Hooker is reporting Thursday on Catalyst Coffee and how donations helped them pay their taxes and keep the doors open.

Searching For Bargain Furniture

Despite the recession there are still purchases that just can't wait, like replacing old furniture.  Suzanne McCarroll is reporting today on buying furniture that's been used in hotels.

  • 3/19/09 - C. Schne I went in there this weekend and thought that Hotel Furniture Outlet had a lot of great deals.  I didn't buy anything because I'm from out of town but I'm amazed at the prices they have.
