Tired!

After the two a day exercise sessions, this is about all to look forward to: the easy chair and the dog!
It can be tough going through these sessions with the trainer, and sometimes all you want to do is chill out.

Pounds Versus Inches

Posted by cbs4webteam
Hello all my friends, family, and fans.

Sorry it’s been so long since my last blog but I was experiencing some computer problems.

Well to date I have lost a total of 26 unofficial pounds and 18.5 official contest pounds the work has been tough and the dieting I found fairly easy. Just making the right choices.

This week not feeling like I dropped a lot of pounds but I feel the inches coming off. To date I have shed 37 inches off my total body composition. Now that’s not all from the waist area its from all over like an inch in the neck or 4 inches from my waist.

They measure us from head to toe. Its important not to get discouraged if you drop a lot of pounds one week then only 2 the next. You have to remember that your body is going through changes turning fat into muscle, of course muscle weighs more than fat so as you transition your weight will plateau.

I know, it stinks.  You’re like ‘man I worked so hard this week and I didn’t drop as much weight as last week’,  then you measure yourself and ‘holy crap I lost 7 inches in my waist!’

So keep your head up high and just work a little harder and you see the differences yourself. One last thing before I go. Dieting can be tough counting calories measuring food. I found that being very regimented about what I eat reduces the stress of counting calories.

I eat almost the same thing every day at least 5 out 7 days; that makes it easier plus you can get creative with spices and seasonings to cook your chicken or fish.

Well that’s all for now and thank you for all your support from my family and all my friends and fans .

Discouraged!

Posted by cbs4webteam
Good morning everyone sorry it’s been awhile since my last entry.

Well as most of you know at the last weigh in I gained 9.5 pounds. I asked how could this be, it was explained to me that by having such a physical work out routine that I was developing muscle mass that I had not used in a long time.

Now muscle does weigh more than fat and this was the cause of my weight gain. Still I put a smile on my face pretended it did not bother me even though it had me outraged all day. I mean this was all I could think about all week so far.

So I hit the gym even harder, upped my cardio and added an extra workout. Everyone says don’t get down or become discouraged but its hard not to when you work so hard to lose and you end up gaining. People have to realize that your body, when dieting and exercising for the first time in a long time, is going to go through a lot of changes physically and mentally and your hormones might be a little wacky just keep a good mind on what your goal is and work through it.

As for me I'm off to the gym again so till next time .

I'm in pain!

Posted by cbs4webteam
So here I am again reaching out to you America,

And I'm in pain. Yes in pain, I've been training with my personal trainer and he has been putting me through the ringer but hey ,no pain no gain, right?

You have to work hard and dedicate yourself to make this weight loss thing work. That includes eating healthy.

I tell you what it has been only 10 days but I'm already feeling 100% better. Just the feeling of not getting winded when i walk or climb stairs has been worth it so far. Hey its not gonna be easy!

I would be lying if I told you it would. But when you earn it from hard work your success is that much sweeter. When i weighed in last Monday and i lost 12 pounds it made all the sweat and tears and pain worth it .

So don't give up and if you need someone to help motivate you post a comment and ill get back to you as soon as possible.

Get Moving!

Posted by cbs4webteam

Well its been a rough start for me in this challenge, being out of shape is a growing problem here in the U.S. but you can change your life around you can eat healthy.

Nobody is going to do it for you !

We all wish there was a magic pill that we could take and all the weight would go away. Well im here to tell yhou that pill doesnt exist but there i something out there you can take to make you lose weight.

Its called advice, that's right, advice and here's mine to you.

Get off the couch people you have to do some kind of exercise if you really want to lose the weight. Sure the first couple of days its gonna hurt and your gonna be out of breath but if yhou push through it the rewards are amazing .

I went from only being able to walk a 1/4 of a mile a day to walking 2 miles in the morning and 2 miles in the afternoon. Thats right 4 miles a day! Thats 2 hours of cardio exercise a day. i did it in a time span of one week .

I'm also eating healthier. Instead of that whopper meal with the med fries and diet coke that has 1066 calories. I go  to SUBWAY and enjoy a delicious 6 inch turkey on whole wheat with nothing but mustard, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, and all the veggies with a bottle water and apple slices with a whopping 315 calories.

Geez which do you think is the healthier choice? So there it is folks my first blog entry my advice:  get moving even if its just 15 minutes a day its a start, and start making better food choices .

Well tomorrow is our second weigh in i would say wish me luck but i don't need it cause i know i have been working hard at the gym and following a sensible diet ,fi you have nay questions for me feel free to blog me back here at cbs4.com
